What a long strange trip it's been. After months of agonizing technical difficulties that only Pete could figure out and fix, I have finally arrived. Or, B-Dub Blog has finally arrived. I'm not sure who will spend time in their daily lives to read about my journeys in life, but to those who do, I don't salute you. I just say, "hey, how's it goin man? Thanks for getting your blog on with B-Dub."
B-Dub Blog: I like to call this blog here "B-Dub Blog" because it works at a few different levels. First, I get to use my nickname "B-Dub" which is short for "B.W." which is short for...well you know what I mean. Second, and most cool of all, is that it has a double meaning (insert oooo's here.) When you say it, it sounds like "Be da blog." Isn't that awesome!? err...you know...like instead of "be da ball" from Caddyshack and the world of sport cliches it's be da blog. Well, I'm going to be da blog now and begin my rantings in this new medium. May it make me feel part of the community that is out there where people actually take time out of their days to write about nothing and everything at the same time. Speaking of nothing...
It is currently 6:30 AM on a Saturday and this is what I'm doing. Sad. I'm up because my neck is killing me and I've not been able to determine just who or what is the pain in my neck. Three days ago, I was at work talking to a couple of co-workers when my neck suddenly decided to freeze up and become extremely stiff. I whinced in pain as I walked up the parking garage to my car. I then drove home for lunch only to find myself stuck there the rest of the afternoon because I could hardly move. Luckily, I could work remotely thanks to Citrix. I went to the doctor yesterday and they basically just told me I had a muscle problem and then gave me some muscle relaxers. Since I didn't think it would be a good idea to drool on my co-workers, I decided to not take any until the next day (today.) Woo-hoo! Now, that I'm up due to my pain perhaps I could take my first pill! Nice. I've had a history of neck pain over the past 8 years or so, but this I have not experienced in quite a while. It sucks. It is basically making me realize that I have to get going with some sort of regular exercise regimine.
welp...see ya later!
