Just heard that J.J. Abrams (Director of Alias) is going to direct the new Mission

land Abrams the job. Here's

Last night, Jan and I were watching the Simpsons and I have to say that I saw one
of my favorite episodes. It was the one where they did the Behind the Music
spoof and did Behind the Laughter. It merged two of my favorite shows into one,
which is no easy feat. Not only did it do that, but Willie Nelson had a big
role in this episode as well. Nice! Anyone else seen this one?

Then, to top things off, last night I dreamed in cartoon! I'm not sure if I've
done that, but I'm sure it had something to do with watching the Simpson's the last
thing during the day. Does this mean something, dreaming in cartoon? Am
I getting back some of my “creativeness” that I seem to have left in my
childhood?

Jan and I have been watching the DVD's of season one of Alias over the past few weeks.
Since we both started watching the show towards the end of season one, it has been
like watching all new Alias episodes each time - that's a good thing. They have
been really incredible and it has been interesting to see things that happened in
the previous seasons that have an effect on what is going on in the show now.
For instance, last night we watched two episodes: “The Box” part 1 and
2. This one was like no other episode it seemed as Quintin Taranatino was introduced
as a character that tried to infiltrate SD6, get some of the Rumbaldi devices, and
take out Sloan in the process. The whole two episodes felt like on whole movie,
because they were so good.

We still have two whole disks to go which I'm excited about. The challenging
part is going back and forth between the current episodes and those of season one.
But it forces me to pay closer to attention to more of the details of the show.
I used to just like the bigger picture aspects of the show but now am enjoying following
the details of the show, of which there are plenty.

If you don't watch Alias, you should rent season one and get caught up so you can
start watching the new ones. Season 2 was good as well, but I honestly think
season 1 is better and I'm liking season 3 pretty well too. It will be interesting
to see where they go with everything as the season continues.
