« I'm Lame | Main | Olympic Inspiration »

My skydive is scheduled.  I'm jumping on Saturday, Sept. 4th with Jamie's dad.  I'm looking forward to it.  I've got to pick a song to put on the video of my jump.  Any suggestions?  I wonder if/when I'll get nervous or scared.  It's bound to come, but I can't really imagine feeling it until I'm at the door of the plane.

UPDATE:  There was a time when I could add align=left to my img tags and wrap my text around my pictures a little bit.  Now, for some reason, whenever I do that, the image doesn't show up.

UPDATE on the first UPDATE:  Mark showed me the extra CSS tag to add to my base.css, and now, as you can see, it works.

ANOTHER UPDATE: Here's the list of songs that they have available.  I can also bring in my own music.  http://www.skydiveelsinore.com/students/tandemmusic.html

It's the css. I had to modify mine to make it work. We can chat this evening. Basically, the images are hiding behind the background of the entries. Good luck on the jump by the way. They taking video of you? I'd like to see that.

You doing tandem? With Don? That would be a riot. Better take earplugs if you do that.

What css property was it? Do tell.

be careful, they always try to put Van Halen's JUMP on your skydive tape...I told them to just put anything they wanted as long as it didn't have the word "jump" in the title..they chose Stevie Ray Vaughan's "house is arockin'"...nice.

what about "Free fallin" by Tom petty or "Learning to Fly" by Tom petty...everytime i think about "free fallin" i think of that great scene in Jerry McQuire when he lands the college client and gets in his car and starts to sing free fallin.. good scene..

My vote would have to be Creed's "Higher." Not only is it Creed, but it's also throughly confusing/ironic to have on a skydiving video. If that is indeed playing as you are FALLING to the earth, does that make sense? Or could you be complaining that you didn't jump from a high enough altitude? Any way you slice it, it is sure to confuse the viewer.

Jason, Isn't that Creed song about the time he went to the mall or something?
