Napoleon Dynamite is going into wider release, people!  No excuses!  Go see it!  And yeah, it's got an additional scene in this latest release, so I may have to go see it a fourth time.

Jamie and I went and saw Bourne Supremacy on Friday.  It was pretty intense.  Mark thought there was too much shaky, and I see his point.  I would suggest that the shakiness helped us see things from Bourne's shaky, fragile point-of-view, plus I don't how they would have pulled off some of the stunts and effects if the camera were showing us too much.  Sheesh!  Best car chase scene ever!

Wildfires abound around the town.  We've got a layer of ash on our car, but we're pretty much out of harm's way.

I also saw TBI this weekend. For the second time if you might remember. Two big changes I noticed: 1. The ending was totally different. The ending I saw had Bourne on a train after he talked to Nesky's daughter. That was it. Same music. This "new" ending totally set them up for "The Bourne Ultimatum." 2. I had expressed my displeasure in several lines from the film. One was when the lady-CIA character tells everyone in the operations room "You want to go home? Find Jason Bourne." The other was when the younger CIA guy takes the old CIA guy down to show him that he thinks Bourne was set up with the fingerprint and the auxiliary electrical line. I didn't like the line, "Hmmm, have you told anyone else about this?" That is a huge tipoff that you're about to see the guy that responds to that question with a "no" die. They edited that line out so you just hear the younger guy's response: "I wanted to tell you first before I told 'whats her name.'" I thought the audience had a bigger reaction when the guy stabs him without the line. I'm sure my comment had nothing to do with that line being taken out...but maybe it did. Booyah!

Did you get an early screening of it Jeff or are you referring to the original?
