« Annoyed and Nervous | Main | Let's Get Ready For The Funny! »

I forgot to mention that Jamie and I went to see “love actually” this weekend.  You've probably seen the commercials for it, and you are probably thinking it's a feel-good, family oriented Christmas season story, like I did.  As it turns out, I think it also could have been called “boobs actually”.  I don't want to knock it as a movie, just because it had boobs, but I will knock the marketing of it.  Man, that would have been an uncomfortable movie to be in with a kid or a parent.

Seth, aside from the totally worth while soft porn parts of the film, it was a good movie. So, yes, you would like it.

yeah, that was a really good movie. I must say that i am a boob guy but even this made me feel pretty awkward. Which makes me wonder, could they have left it out or was it nessecary to for the audience to feel the awkwardnest that the couple felt during those scenes? Or could i just be justifing having boobs in the movie?

That's just it. You could easily make the scene just as uncomfortable just by suggesting things. You don't have to show everything in such awkward detail. You could even use the same dialog, but use different angles, or cut to somebody's reaction. Or show the detail, but show it for a blip, then move on. Don't dwell on it.

Not that I don't mind looking at boobs, it obviously does not take away from the movie at all. I hear good things from our group as well. Guess I gotta see it.

Is it Hugh Grant's boobs? If so I'm there.
I'm not gay.
